Hi, I’m Yaroslava Kashtanova, the Russian language teacher and coach.

Probably, you are not really satisfied with your Russian language level. Probably, you are using simple words and phrases, when you speak and write (just like me in English. You have no idea how eloquent I am in Rusian). Or not sure if you understand texts and people fully. And you want to feel more free and fluent?
And therefore you worry if this is not changed, you won’t be able to work on new interesting projects, with interesting people, and in interesting places.
I am here to help people to feel more confident, expressive, and cogent.

In my spare time, I can be found playing chess, running, exploring the city I am in, filming videos for YouTube, and making study materials for Russian language learners. I love languages and am fascinated by their structures and histories. At different stages of my life, I have studied German, Ukrainian, French, Bulgarian, Turkish, Swedish, Georgian, ancient languages (Latin, Greek, Slavic), and English... This helps me find the “common ground” between the Russian language and other languages. And I constantly research and reflect on different methods for learning foreign languages.
