For those who want to maintain and improve their Russian — without stress

👩‍🏫
In short
This is a one-year program for people who don’t want to lose their Russian and want to gradually become more confident using the language.
It is not a bootcamp. But a dedicated program with an manageable rhythm. With real topics and real-life Russian.
👋
Hi! My name is Yaroslava. I teach Russian and run a YouTube channel for people learning Russian.
Over 8 years of teaching, I’ve learned one simple thing: the best results don’t come from studying more intensively, but from studying regularly, consistently, and without long breaks.
That’s exactly why I created this program.

🌞 Who is this program for?

  • Don’t want to lose the progress you already have

  • Want to understand real, natural Russian and talk about real-life topics
  • Have a Russian level from A2 to C1 (subtitles are available, and tasks can be adapted)
  • Aren’t looking for “magic solutions,” but are ready to improve gradually
  • Want your friends to ask you: How do you know that?
  • Need a clear plan and a system (I’ve already thought everything through 😊)

📆 Structure of the Year of Russian

A Year of Russian includes 12 themes to help you talk about interesting topics, about yourself, and the world, and to understand Russian on a deeper level.
👩‍🏫
1 year = 1 commitment to study Russian regularly
12 months = 12 topics = 12 in-depth webinars, so the language is not just theory, but real life.
52 weeks = 52 emails with practical tasks for different levels, so you can actually USE Russian in your everyday life.
P.S. The tasks are designed in a way that gives you almost no chance not to remember what you learn in the webinars.

You can see the topics here ⬇️

  1. 🗺️ Russian and Other Languages (Languages and Cultures) You’ll stop being afraid of grammar, phonetics, and vocabulary — because you’ll understand why things work the way they do.
  1. 🗣️ Pronunciation You’ll identify your weak points in pronunciation and start speaking more clearly and confidently.
  1. 📚 A Dive into Literature An introduction to 19th- and 20th-century Russian literature. After this webinar, you’ll feel much more confident navigating Russian classics.
  1. 💗 Feelings and Emotions A clear and unique system for talking about what’s on your heart in Russian.
  1. 👯 Family and Relationships Talking about what really matters. You’ll learn not only how to talk about family, but also how to react to real-life situations in Russian.
  1. 🕊️ What Do We Believe In? A look into values and beliefs — not just religion, but how different worldviews are reflected in the Russian language.
  1. 🥙 Talking About Food As we like to say: “I love having fun — especially eating!”. You’ll learn how to talk about food naturally and with pleasure (and with taste!).
  1. 👩‍⚕️ Health An essential topic — and I sincerely wish you good health 😊
  1. 🏫 Science (Back to School) Through stories and tasks, you’ll learn key scientific terms and be able to talk about the world around you.
  1. 🗞️ History and the USSR Not a history lesson, but a language lesson. You’ll learn expressions and symbols that are still used in Russian today.
  1. 🇷🇺 Russia, the 21st Century Do you have questions about modern Russia and contemporary Russian language? You’ll find the answers here.
  1. 🍿 Iconic Films and Cartoons We’ll end the year by watching films and cartoons — finishing on a light and positive note.
