1 year immersion program for Intermediate Learners

Year of Russian 💙

Program to help you talk about interesting topics, yourself, and the world.
And to understand Russian on a deep level.

A little bit about your teacher

Hi! My name is Yaroslava.
I teach Russian and run a YouTube channel
for people learning Russian.

Over 8 years of teaching,
I’ve learned one simple thing: the best results don’t come from studying more intensively,
but from studying regularly, consistently,
and without long breaks.

That’s exactly why I created this program.

🌞 Is "Year of Russian" Right for You?

This program is a dedicated one-year immersion experience

designed for learners at the Intermediate level (B1 to C1)

who are ready to reach native-level fluency.

If you...

Want to break the Intermediate Plateau:

You have the basics but feel stuck and want to ensure you don’t stall or lose your hard-earned progress

Strive to Master Natural Expression:

Move beyond textbook grammar to understand natural Russian and talk about real-life topics, from films to current events.

Look for Sustainable Consistency:

Unlike bootcamps, this program offers a manageable rhythm of 12 monthly webinars and 52 weekly practices.

Check Your Level:

If you can follow the "Learn Russian with News" videos

on my YouTube channel with subtitles,

this program is a perfect fit for you.

❓FAQ

I am not sure about my level. Will it be too hard/easy?

The program is designed for Intermediate level. But it is a very broad term.
The easiest way to check – if you can understand my YouTube videos.

- If you can follow "Learn Russian with News" videos with subtitles, the program will be perfect for you.

- If you can understand easily of my vlogs/spoken videos, but not "Learn Russian with News", the program will be more challenging. You won't have problems with webinars, but you should be more gentle with yourself on weekly practice. But I have guides for adjusting them.

- If you can't yet understand my spoken videos without subtitles, I would wait and join it later :)

I struggle with cases/verbs of motion/etc. Will the program help?

The goal of the program is immersion and thinking like natives.

And that is why I won't be covering grammar topics deeply.
For practicing grammar, I recommend Живая речь textbooks. They are the best for grammar.

Do you give a feedback on practice?

I don’t provide feedback on practice. However, you’re welcome to ask questions via email — I do reply, although not always quickly. Occasionally, I also organize Zoom sessions where we go over your answers together.

If I won't like the program, can I get a refund?

Sure, email me within the first 3 weeks, and I will refund you :)
